in CCNA & CCENT
Took it on October 6th, failed with a 770.
Took it again today, October 20th, passed with an 898, and with 10 minutes to spare.
Now that's my style, lost it for a while, and it is back in full force!
The trick? Know VTP, know VLANs, and know ACLs. Obviously know subnetting, that is a given.

I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image.

michaeljsmalley Member Posts: 3 ■□□□□□□□□□CCNP or CCSP, haven't put a ton of thought into it yet. I'm taking a week off, and then I'm going to research which is a better fit for me.
Thanks for asking! I love how folks on these forums aren't like "Congrats!" and thats it...
Instead, you get "Congrats! What next?"...
This is a beautiful thing. It keeps people motivated, and we all benefit from shared knowledge. It is a pleasure posting here and hearing what people have to say. :P[/i]I think computer viruses should count as life. r_durant Member Posts: 486 ■■■□□□□□□□Well, sad to say...the geek in me has already started to look at BSCI
BSCI will fit into what we're doing at work now, we just changed out a bunch or routers at all of our remote sites, so routing is more relevant (at the momemt)....
I'm in the mood now, so I don't want to slack off then to lose the motivation...I'll probably be at it from tomorrow...
Anyways...good luck whatever you guys choose, but I'm sure we'll be asking each other stuff along the way...CCNA (Expired...), MCSE, CWNA, BSc Computer Science

It must be a good feeling. I failed twice. Once with 707 then 809. Which study material did you use. I used Sybex book and a few classes I went to. That was a few years ago. I'm trying to make a comeback. I have the new sybex book 6th edition for the 802 and routersim simulator version 5. I also have 2 1720 routers. I know its good to have your own lab but I cant keep up with all the changes with cisco sometimes. I cant afford to by routers every 15 seconds. Do you think I can make it with the routersim and two 1720 routers for the 802?
Thanks -
ITdude Member Posts: 1,181 ■■■□□□□□□□Congrats and good luck with the next one!I usually hang out on 224.0.0.10 (FF02::A) and 224.0.0.5 (FF02::5) when I'm in a non-proprietary mood.
