Scheduling exam for mid december

I think as a true form of motivation I'm going to schedule the 70-270 exam in mid December. Being that I hate to waste $$ I think that scheduling would make me buckle down and finally focus (and the fact that MS is offering the free retest option if I fail). I have about 3 years XP support and have been reading the MSPress for XP (no note taking just highlighting important info) and have VMWare with evaluation version of server and XP.

What do you think??

I think that's a good way to motivate yourself into being ready. Wish I had the guts to do that.
