Lab with a Switch

Hi Guys,

I have been given a Cisco switch and plan to have 3 PCs connected to it. One of the PCs will have Win2k3 on it and the other two PCs will act as clients with XP Pro on them. How easy is it to set this up ? I'm a noob to MS stuff. Any advice on setting it up would be appreciated. thanks in advance

Easy or hard, it really depends on your experience. The truth of it is, though, that setting up a couple of servers and workstations is exactly the kind of thing that the 70-290 will test you on. My advice, pick up a study guide and work your way through. In the process, you'll learn exactly what's needed to set those servers and that workstation up. . . as well as a few other things, too.
