Are there any books or training material specifically for the CCENT? I just want to focus on that one exam for now and not get mixed up with the other material for the CCNA.

You could get the first book of the new Odom CCNA Certification Library

CBT Nuggets has just released CCENT training videos.
Sybex is releasing a study manual sometime this month.

He is offering the CCENT material now, and will provide you the material for the new CCNA exam for free with its purchase.

turns out I did not need the new material, but it was a good fallback plan if I was unable to pass the 801.
