I have an interview tommorow with a company called linetex(www.linetex.co.uk) working in their repair workshop here is the job description
Job Specification
Workshop Assistant
Repair Centre
Job Profile Working in a busy computer workshop, the role is primarily to support the Parts team assisting in the repair, test and supply of a range of computers and peripherals both old and new.
Duties Repair, upgrade and test equipment to ISO quality standards
Prioritise goods within the repair cycle
Configuration of software and hardware to specific customer requirements
Supply of Parts to the field operation
Person Profile The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with IT hardware. They will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for, and up to date knowledge of, PC systems and peripherals.
They will have potential to progress their repair skills. They may have attained, or be in the process of attaining, certification.
They will be a team player able to switch priorities to fulfil service level requirements.
