differential or incremental backup
Hi
I understand how they work, but I don't understand why call differential and incremental. For me should be around
Incremental, backup only that what changed. Restore slow
Select After Backup
X
WHAT WE ARE INCREMENTED ?????????????????
Differential, backup everything since last full backup including what you already backup, that way you leave the Archive bit marked.
Restore fast
Select After Backup
X X
WHY DIFFERENTIAL??????????
X: Archive bit
Extra Note:
Full Backup
Select After Backup
X or blank blank
