Question for Cisco Voice guys/girls in here

if your router receives a call from an FXO port or a T1 port from the PSTN, how does it know which phone to forward it when you have multiple extentions configured on your phone network?

    hi,

    your voice gateway has its own phone number address book (dial-plan). It will look at the destination and as simple as route it back to internal PBX or it may forward directly the call. and the same goes to your internal phone network which rely the PBX to route the call.
