Can anyone please tell me how to setup terminal services to allow more than 2 administrator RDP sessions simultainiously? We have plenty of TS CAL's, and our users login fine, but I cant get around this 2 administrators at a time thing. Any suggestions are much appreciated

doom969 Member Posts: 304in add / remove program, you need to install terminal services. By default windows 2003 only allow terminal services for administration. ( 2 admin users).
If you install terminal services, you will have 120 days grace period before the user cant connect due to no licences. ( or before the clients get a full blown licence).
In windows 2000 this was called terminal server application mode.Doom969

APA Member Posts: 959I'm pretty certain your only allowed 2 x administrator sessions..... There is no way around this.
Terminal Server Licensing is just for additional user sessions.....

doom969 Member Posts: 304nope, you can have as many user as you have licences for, with as many of them being admin as you like. The term "user licence" does not mean that they cant be admins, it means that licences are applied to the user session as opposed to being applied to machine session when you have "devices licences".Doom969
