unable to login as admin in xp home edition

Hi i am using windows xp (HE). I would like to log in as an administrator, but everytime I try to do so, it says ***unable to log you an because of account restriction***

Reinstall the OS. Is it possible to go into safe mode and change the Admin password?

In windows XP Home, you cannot log on as the administrator normally.
You can only log on to the account when the computer is in safe mode. Microsoft hates you, and wants you to buy XP Pro.

There are no settings on a Home computer to make the account unavailable, other than a simple binary yes/no for account disabled.

Just give your own accounts Administrator access by placing them in the Administrators group.
