tools list

Gents I am going to work on this cert soon.

Is there a list of these 300 tools that the exam covers??

I already know/have:

nmap
nessus
tcpdump
ethereal
wireshark
jhontheripper
loothcrack
netscan tools

built in stuff like:
ping
nslookup
finger
whois
traceroute

encryption tools etc....

I am sure there are others I have/use ( I am a security professional). BUt I would like to start putting together a repository of all the needed tools etc... Any input would be greatly appriciated

I have been looking all over their site trying to find some books for self study.

I have found some sort of kit for 400... But I can't seem to find any details about what is included in that kit.

You guys got a clue as to what I am talking about?

Beware of these "kits" that come from non-professional sources. There are many people that collect freely available security tools, compile them on to a CD, label it as an "ethical hacking kit," and sell it on eBay. There is no value-added material in these "kits" and they are a rip-off. Go find and download all the tools yourself. There are also several ethical hacking Web sites with forums crammed with people discussing how to use all the popular tools. Start with The Ethical Hacker Network.
