Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for all the info here. I studied the Syngress book, took any free practice tests I could find (free-test, the three here, 100 from preplogic), and read through the technotes here. I also bought the rest of the questions at preplogic and studied what those questions were asking about. I then went over the objectives from CompTIA and made sure I knew about each technology and read up more on anything I didn't remember.
I had a little bit of background with some of the topics from my CCNA/NP/VP, but learned a lot getting this certification.

With the advanced certs that I see you have, was there a specific reason why you pursued this certification? I'm also going after it, but I'm curious as to what your reasons were. Thanks."Computers in the future may weigh no more than 1.5 tons." - Popular Mechanics, 1949 -
Fourthbean Member Posts: 2 ■□□□□□□□□□I did not have anything specifically in Security and found that the S+ was a bit more respected than what I had heard about A+, Net+, etc. My employer was funding it also, so I figured it would be good to have under my belt.
