QUESTION ABOUT SDM INSTALLATION

I just downloaded the latest SDM program on my computer along with the SDM demo.
The Device manager 2.4.1 release doesn't mention any hardware support for the 2500 series
so I'm wondering if this might be the reason why I can't get the SDM to work.
(My 2500 IOS version is 12.1) Everything works fine until I get to please type your SSH username and password. I wasn't able to configure that on my router cause the config command ip http secure-server is not available on my router. I'm not sure if that is what's keeping me from logging in. Just wondering if there's anyway to bypass the SSH info section. Also in the demo when I type in 127.0.0.1 and click on the launch button I get "unable to launch because of one of the following reasons" error message. Any idea what's going on here? Will there be any SDM questions on the new exam?

It's not supported on the 2500
