CCNA expiring....
Hi guys..
My CCNA is going to expired on Aug 2008.
so, from now onward, i left about months....
i was thinking, to your guys, is it enough for your guys to self study and pass 4 CCNP papers?
another questions is : If i got my BSCI and BSMSN before aug 2008, but not yet ISCW and ONT. but then my CCNA expired. so, will my BSCI and BSMCN still consider valid ?
please advise....

I think i get you......just about.
If you take any CCNP exam and pass, your ccna is renewed yes. But it shouldnt be taken lightly, its still tough.DevOps Engineer and Security Champion. https://blog.pash.by - I am trying to find my writing style, so please bear with me. -
Steve10393 Member Posts: 32 ■■□□□□□□□□If the CCNA expires the only way to renew it is to take the CCNA again.
If you pass ANY 1 CCNP course before Aug 08, before your CCNA expires, you renew the CCNA.
Also, my understanding is that you cannot be credited with a CCNP if your CCNA is expired and you pass all 4 CCNP sections. You'd have to take the CCNA again, and upon passing the CCNA you'd be a CCNP. -

The cool thing is once you have a CCNP you only need a CCIE or 642 level test to renew another three years. This is my understanding, please correct me if I'm wrong.Studying for MCSE: Server Infrastructure (70-414 left)

That is correct, the only exams that will not be renewed by taking a professional level cert or a CCIE written are the Cisco Qualified Specialist certifications. They are good for 2 years and the only way to renew them is to take the exams over again (if they still offer it, I have a few months left on my VPN specialist cert, but since the exam is retiring I will not be keeping it any longer.)The only easy day was yesterday!
