Generate rsa doesn't work

I am having a little trouble configuring SSH. I gave ti a domain name and now I am trying to generate my rsa but it doesn't recognize the command. I get invalid input at the "R"

How do I tell if this version supports SSH?

I can't get to the SSH using the show command so I guess this version doesn't upoort SSH. I am using a 2501 router. I have a CD from ciskokits with other IOS's on but how do I get the IOS off the CD and onto the router?

I have the following IOS for the 2500 series
11.x IP
12.1.27 IP firewall plus ip sec 56 enterprise
12.1.27 IP for 8 8 routers
12.3.19 IP

Your router will not support ssh, the 2500 does not suupport the "K9" encryption set so no SSH.

But was I at least trying to set it up correctly.
