can anyone recommend some training material for configuring point of sale software? such as microsoft dynamics, synchronics or quickbooks etc?

The only POS training material I've seen are the user and service manuals supplied by the POS vendors themselves. Both Aloha and Maitre'D have very good manuals available as PDFs. The manuals for many ECRs tend to be written like 1960's computer manuals.
