11. You are a member of a research team which task is to investigate possibilities of using IPv6 in the corporate network. How do you install IPv6 on a Windows XP Professional machine?

Use the Network Control Panel Applet to add the protocol.
answer --> At the command prompt, type: IPv6 install.
At the command prompt, type: IPv6 stack.
Enable IPv6 using the New Network Connection wizard.

According to the Microsoft.com tech notes With Sp1 for Xp the way of installing IpV6 has changed, and is actually installed using the Control panel to add the protocol "MS IP v6 developer".

Does the exam ask questions based on the most up to date SPs?
Or do we assume no service packs?

Usually Microsoft avoids asking about features in a certain Service Pack, unless they are significant and add actual functionality. In that case they will mention the service pack. I.e. Which of the following OSs can access NTFS 5.0 volumes?

    a. NT4
    b. NT4 + SP4
    c. 2000
    d. XP

    (bcd)

I will run Service Pack 1 on the question in our practice exam as well ;)
