r_durant Member Posts: 486 ■■■□□□□□□□The 2948g is layer 3, some of the commands "may" be different...but should be able to suffice for the CCNA...
The 4500 can be used, especially for a frame-relay switch if you have at least 4 serial ports...
The 2610 is also good enough...
I'm not too sure about the 7010 or the 7200 since I haven't physically worked with either of these, only the 7200, but on Dynamips and this is for CCNP...but I'm pretty sure they should be able to do what's required for CCNA...CCNA (Expired...), MCSE, CWNA, BSc Computer Science

uncamt26 Member Posts: 5 ■□□□□□□□□□I also can't say much for the 7000 series routers you mentioned as I haven't worked with them either. I just completed my coursework at my local Cisco academy and never used anything but 2950/2960 switches and 2600 & 2800 series routers. They worked fine for me and I just passed the CCNA on my first try. Those particular devices worked well in my opinion.
