Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express Editions

Just a note to say that the Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express Editions are available. You can download them individually or as a single DVD ISO file. In addition to C#, C++, Visual Basic, and SQL Server 2005, a new Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition is available for creating Web sites using AJAX and LINQ.

The .NET Framework 3.5 is also available for download, as is the Game Creators DarkGDK (Game Development Kit) for Visual Studio C++ Express Edition.

Cool. Do you do any web programming? I played with their ajax implementation a bit back when it was still code-named Atlas, and it was pretty slick. I'm curious how that's progressed since then. I'll probably continue to do things with php and js, but it's cool that they're opening up all that functionality to novices.
