Passed 294 this afternoon!

Just one more away from completing my MCSE now...

Got an 857. As opposed to what some people say this is not an easy exam at all but it's just not as hard as the 291/293 plus the study material is vastly more interesting than most other exams.

About 60-70% of the exam was related to group policy. Got a few questions on FSMO placement, OU structure and site replication.

The 3 sims were pretty straight forward.

My main source for revising was the excellent book "Group Policy: Management, Troubleshooting, and Security" since GP covered a majority of the exam. I also used the MS Press book for everything non-GP related but only really skimmed through it.

This was definately a nice exam to take just before Prometric close for Christmas tomorrow.

Next, onto 297...should be good for the first week of Jan.

Glad to hear about the pass. My test experience was similar to that as well.

Thanks for posting the link to that book. I'm going to pick that up when I have a chance. I really didn't feel like I had a handle on that material as well as I should have.
