Brand new 5510-24T out of the box and it will not boot. It gets stuck here:
Booting...
Testing Memory...............................
Starting..
Ethernet Routing Switch 5510-24T
Hardware Rev : 4
CPU CLOCK :266000000
Resets: 18.
Initializing Flash..
Reading MAC Address..
MAC Address: 00:1A:8F:A8:98:00
Initializing Switch CBs
>> Break Recognized - Wait..
PCI unit 0: Dev 0x5670, Rev 0x02, Chip BCM5670_A1, Driver BCM5670_A0
PCI unit 1: Dev 0x5690, Rev 0x03, Chip BCM5690_A2, Driver BCM5690_A0
PCI unit 2: Dev 0x5690, Rev 0x03, Chip BCM5690_A2, Driver BCM5690_A0
Attaching SOC unit 0... PCI device BCM5670_A1 attached as unit 0.
Attaching SOC unit 1... PCI device BCM5690_A2 attached as unit 1.
Attaching SOC unit 2... PCI device BCM5690_A2 attached as unit 2.
It recognizes a break sequence(ctrl-C) , but never gets to the diagnostics menu. HOw could I initialize the flash with this problem?

Netstudent Member Posts: 1,693 ■■■□□□□□□□NO it's not a POE. the 5520's are the POe. Can't remember if there is a 5510 line of POE's.
Also I'm not sure what you mean by "Shipped out with the BCM's"There is no place like 127.0.0.1 BUT 209.62.5.3 is my 127.0.0.1 away from 127.0.0.1! -
Pash Member Posts: 1,600 ■■■■■□□□□□baystack switches hardly ever ship with the BCM's themselves, its usually seperate and extra. Looks's DOA to me NS, but if you figure a way of making it work, let us know.DevOps Engineer and Security Champion. https://blog.pash.by - I am trying to find my writing style, so please bear with me.
