Blue-ray ROM

High level EX want to get a Blue-ray on their workstation.

The question is do we need a high level video card to match with this Blue-ray requirement. I told them, can we just get the blue-ray player for the EX, but NO. The EX want to have it on his workstation. He got a nice HD LCD hook up to his wks last week. So, they want more.

Anyway, it is my job to get his request done.

What type of video card do we looking for to match up blue ray?

Any video card that can display the full resolution of the monitor should be fine. The CPU will likely be more of an issue than the GPU since it is responsible for decoding the content (any relatively new system shouldn't have a problem, so you probably don't need to worry about this). However, You should make sure the video card is HDCP-compliant. If it's not, it may not play the protected Blu-Ray content.
