If you're still having trouble on the OSI model, you should postpone your exam- you won't be ready for the Net+ test without knowing at least the bottom three layers inside and out, while also being able to categorize protocols in all seven layers.Fear is the absence of Faith.

Somewhere in my studies (maybe off the ProProfs.com site?) I ran across this one and like it.
Pete doesn't need to sell pickles anymore
Easy for me to remember.
I joined this forum originally for the practice tests but am finding a lot of good info here........not just for the Network+ study, but for other certs as well. Thanks, to whoever originally started this site.Bill -

OSI...very...different.
Must...spend...more...time...studying.
Heck, after a couple of years and two or three certs, you'll have it down cold.
It's very difficult to grasp the concepts at first. Use different sources. Just keep at it. It really takes time and effort...and concentration.Experience is a harsh teacher. She gives the test first, the lesson afterwards. -

HAHA I like these Acronyms. I used
"People Don't Need To See Pierced Areas" for my OSI model."Love your Job, but never fall in love with your company....because you never know when your company stops loving you!" -
wbosher Member Posts: 422I use the Please Do Not Throw Sausage Pizza Away for layers 1-7, but if you want to go the other way, another one is Angus Prefers Sausage To Nibbling Dried Pork, I like that one!!
