On christmas eve my only laptop, which is about 7-8 years old, died. It took me two days, but I finally got it repaired and booting again. It worried me for a bit.

My friends and family know my tastes. This year, I got:
~ A very nice humidor that holds 25 cigars, has a glass lid, and comes with a very high-rated humidifier.
    ~ A $25 gift certificate to Cigar.com
~ Eric Clapton's latest CD, Complete Clapton and his autobiography
~ A ton of home-made candy and baked goodies
~ And I also got a joke-gift from my roommates: a purple chalice with faux-diamonds on the front, spelling out PIMPIN'

And, of course, I got to spend a nice, long weekend with friends and family. Ate lots of food, had a lot of fun, a nice way to round out the year.

Most of my relatives either got me sweaters, ties, gift cards, or DVDs.

I like to pop in a DVD while I stretch and run on my Elliptical so they will work out nicely. I pedal faster if there is more action.

I got various bottles of various intoxicating liquids, not sure what people think of me!! icon_lol.gif

The most rewarding thing though was spending time with the people who matter to me. Its what Christmas means for me much more than the presents.

That's where I'm at too. I have a bunch of little kids to buy stuff for on the wife's side, so they get all the cool stuff. I have pretty much everything I want, so I'm really hard to shop for. Some people get me gift cards or cash because they feel obligated, but it's not a big deal. I refuse to let my wife get my anything, but I always get her jewelry or something like that because she won't spend the money on herself.

    Nice presents above!

I purchased for myself (naughty naughty):-

    1. 22" Samsung LCD monitor

    2. Nintendo Wii (halfs with bro)

    3. PS3 (halfs with bro)

The PS3 werent my fault, i was searching for another Wii Remote but couldnt find one anywhere, they seem like gold dust or something. And the PS3 was screaming at us icon_sad.gif

    From family:

Socks, water filter (very very handy!), and two large red cross boxes from my mum packed with food and essentials, she knows we don't get in much food/good food atm :P

Even though I have flu on AGAIN this holiday season I really enjoyed myself and got to see the family and eat some traditional christmas food.

    Happy new year to all.

    Yep, nice presents guys !

    Lets see

1 A bottle of Vsop Brandy with serving glasses
2 I also got a pro Dartboard, complete with cabinet.
3 "15 Stars" a book on Generals Eisenhower, Macartur and Marshall.

The best part was the gifts I got to give to my kids tho. I gave a little Winnie the pooh truck to my daughter (the kind you can sit on and roll around the house, it has various lights and buttons, etc...) and she's been riding it smiling and screaming for 3 days, its AWESOME !
She's only 19 months old, so its her first "real" christmas.

    Happy holydays to everyone.

Na, his is the half that poops and eats, and hers is the half that snuggles.

Give Metroid Prime 3 and Resident Evil 4 a shot, and the new Smash Bros. and Mario Kart are going to be coming out early this year.

That's awesome to hear. San Antonio is a great city.

What are you interests? You'd be suprised what downtown has to offer besides the riverwalk and the Alamo. There is also the Tower of Americas, hemisfair park, etc..

Looking to go out to party? Have dinner? Shop? Let me know...I can point you in the right direction....

I think Metroid is just single player, but I might be wrong. I haven't played it; I just have friends that are raving about it.
