    OK,

Not being familiar with telnet servers, which one do you recommend for Windows XP?

I have ethernet0 of the 2511 configured with an IP address. Do I just plug a CAT 5 cable between it and my desktop computer? Do I need to do any configurations on the desktop?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Just configure SSH on the 2509 router, then download putty and try to connect to your AS from your PC and if you have properly configurated your AS using reverse telnet you will be able to access all the Switches/Routers in your lab.

Switch between PC and router could be any regular switch, this is to use straight cable but if you have any crossover you can use it instead the switch.

    Hope this Help. icon_wink.gificon_wink.gif
