Got my MS pressbooks today ;)

Hi All, I am starting my MCSE studies today as my MS press books have come through the post

Anyways, on the installation part, and reading about Networking installation. Now for this to be possible, a copy of windows (ie 95/98/ME/nt etc etc) has to be installed already? Am I correct, or can a network installation be done on a completely uninstalled system, ie a blank hdd?

Just puzzled me, thats all.

Any OS that allows access to the network share will do. Even DOS and Windows 3.11. But RIS would be more appropriate for an installation over the network on PC with no OS.
