CCNA course from 'Mindleaders.com'

Hi, to everyone. I'm doing the CCNA 640-801 course online with a company from the US, www.mindleaders.com and it comes with the Todd Lammle study guide. Has anyone used this course from this company. It's just that the study guide seems to follow a certain route and the online course a different one, I mean the topics covered are in a different sequence. Also, the course seems a bit 'thin' compared to the book. At this time I'm not sure if the online course is suffcient or just covers the subjects or if the Lammle guide is too in depth. Any advice will greatly received.

    Hi Gman

Yes I know a few people who have used there products. The general consensus seems to be that there Cisco product is an excellent introduction to the CCNA. Not too dry and an easy read as far as E-learning goes. However on its own it doesnt quite cut the mustard and will definately need to be supplemented with additional materials.
There learning track is still using the 640-801 curriculum at the moment but I believe the 640-802 stuff is being released soon.
Id recommend starting with Mindleaders stuff first and then move on to the Lammle guide.
You also wont go far wrong with the offical Cisco press series :http://www.amazon.co.uk/Official-Certification-Library-640-802-Guide/dp/1587201836/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1199306889&sr=8-1
    On offer at the moment.

When did you begin this course? Is this company a CCNA Net Academy? The 801 exam has been retired since nov 6th. I don't think anyone but academy students are able to take the 801 exam so I'd be cautious about using this course. Just my 2 cents

My company is also looking at MindLeaders, but for the A+ and MCDST.
I've looked at Mindleaders and it seemed to be okay as an intro but, just as Diesel423 said, use suplemental materails.
Experience is a harsh teacher. She gives the test first, the lesson afterwards.
