Does Cisco provide a certificate with CCNA?

Its been in the back of my mind to ask this simple question since passing my ccna back in July! Previously, when I got it back in 2000, Cisco sent me a wallet card and I believe a wall certificate for passing the test. Do they still do this or is this a thing of the past? I haven't received anything from them. Thanks!

Yes they do. Have you logged into the Cisco Certification Tracking Website -- the URL and instructions are listed on your score report. You should also have received an email with the URL and instructions.

If you had a previous certification and tested with both Vue and Prometric, you may have 2 different Cisco IDs.... or your certificate could have been sent to an old address.....

If your CCNA never lapsed, you might not get a new one -- they've been uneven in the past about certificates on recerts (usually no -- but I got 4 copes of my CCIP Cert for one recert once icon_confused.gif ).

Either way, check the Certification Tracking website. Cisco did change the company they deal with, so the new site may still be lacking some pieces.

Ultimately, you'll probably want to open a ticket with Cisco Certification Online Support

Good Luck -- and Congratulations on regaining your CCNA icon_thumright.gif

    They do, it's ugly too.

    Thank you gentlemen!

I'm pretty sure I've got the same ID as I did before and it is entirely possible that they had an old address. Mike, the cisco tracking site you mentioned goes to Prometric and they don't seem to be doing the cisco tests anymore? Perhaps I'll need to go straight to opening a ticket with them?

    Thanks!

Ha ha ha! I copied the link from the Cisco Certification Web Page....... here's the updated shortcut I use that redirects to the correct vendor of the week for the Cisco Certification Tracking Website:
    http://www.cisco.com/go/certifications/login

You'd think that Cisco would pay for or have owned the URL.....

Thanks Mike. I'm on the phone with them now. They clearly have messed it up and had no record of my new status. (I'm updating real time). Ok, they now see that I passed the test 6 months ago and never sent me any certs in the mail. (This guy is REALLY obnoxious). But he's given me a ticket number so I should find out something by next week.

    Thanks guys!
