IT Job Market in Australia???

I've seen we have a few Aussies on the boards and was looking for some general insight from you guys!

I'm considering doing some travelling around oz in the next year to 18 months time and was looking for some advice as to the state of the industry over there in the respect of employment of overseas staff on contracts? I'd be looking to stay in oz for a year initially and be looking to do a bit of travelling/sight seeing there for 3 months or so before picking up 2 or 3 IT contracts before I leave.

I'd prefer to take it offline from the main forum so if you think you can help me out and give me some good advice then send me a PM and I'll give you more details about what I'm looking to do etc.
