Check out this router.

Hey all. I am yet to really start studying for a CCNA, but I'm looking at routers and such on eBay. I was looking into a 2514 router and found this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Cisco-2500-Series-Router-Model-2514_W0QQitemZ320203195355QQihZ011QQcategoryZ64061QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Being only 24 bucks, I would assume this doesn't have the 16/16 memory or something? Would this be adequate for a CCNA lab? The price seems too good to be useful almost. Thanks for the help!

Looks good to me...nice shipping price too ($5!). What would it take to hook 2 of these up over a serial link?

Any other thoughts? I'd love to pick one of these up if it's will work for a CCNA lab.

Yes it would be good, but I would suggest getting 2, and a crossover serial cable to connect them together. That way for still very little money you could do a fair bit with them.

Thanks for the input. I've already got a 2501 that I picked up pretty cheap too.

Unless i missed it while skimming I'd want a show version output because you'll want to know what version of IOS is on there. Here's the output of a show version on my 2514:
