lmx,
Here's the exam outline for the 642-587 AWLANFE exam. The only official training for this exam are the Cisco Wireless LAN Fundamentals (CWLF) course and the Cisco Wireless LAN Advanced Topics (CWLAT) course through your local Cisco Learning Partner or Partner E-Learning Connection.

Boson doesn't offer an ExSIM product for this exam, so there probably isn't any legitimate practice exams or exam simulators for this one.
The only people I've ever met who did this exam worked at Cisco Business Partners and used the Partner Learning that wildfire mentioned in this thread http://www.techexams.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=17137wildfire wrote:I havent sat the exam but plan to in the near future. First books that are usefull are the Fundamentals of wireless lans companion guide and the CWNA (yes CWNA) study guide.
If you have a CCO account with a Gold/silver partner the official CBTs are on there for free and I now use them for every exam and find them excellent.
If you dont have a CCO or cant use one, then the training is provided by a company called NetG (used to know as KnowledgeNet)
Theres also a lot of white papers cisco website. Consider a couple of cheap Aironet 1200's which are cheap nowadays from ebay.
This was actually on my "Certification to-do list" but the lack of study material made me move it to the back of my exam queue. I will probably follow the suggestion and get the CWNA Study Guide.
