70-270 Pass mark?

Anyone know the pass score for 70-270? I just failed it, with a score of 674, 50 questions 120 mins. Read somewhere it was 620 for 70-210 but the XP exam has a higher required pass mark.
Is it 733?

With an exam total out of 1000 and 50 questions (20 pts to a question), I don't understand how one can get 674. If that's the case, what is the test total?


[I think 80% is the pass rate]

ah... questions don't have the same mark becuase MS, CompTIA etc... group the questions and give hard ones a high mark whereas easy questions carry a low mark. This gives the candidate a better chance of passing if he flunks an easy question but works out a tough one.

So if you get this question: Are you a human (=joke), it's probably marked with a score of one.

I just scored a 42.9% on the practice test here.... I need to study harder & concentrate a little more so I can take the test around May 30, 2004

I though M$ don't give scores if you fail the exam.

This test is starting to freak me out. I just got finished taking A+ which is probably one of the biggest non-events ever. It is way easy if you have been using a computer for a few years. I finish reading the Sybex book which read much like the A+ books in how simple they are and was hoping this test would be similar to the simplicity of A+. Now I find out that not only is it difficult, it is down right hard without network experience and demands a higher % rating than the A+ exam did by a lot. I don't have the money to setup my own network here and am going to have to depend on the practice tests I have to prepare me for the exam.

I think the A+ exams have the lowest pass score out of any exam...It only gets harder.
