EtherChannels

Hi just after a bit of advice about etherchannels,
i am just about to configure a couple of 2950's at work with etherchannels and as i have never used these before I was wondering if anybody had any advive of anything i should be careful of any potential pitfuls and basically any general tips when using these

    Just remember to choose load balancing method properly. if you don't... you'll gain nothing from the aggregation.

    If you are going to choose mode "on" shut down one end of the ether channel while you configure it or it may see he link as a spanning tree loop and err-disable it. This is due to the fact that one end is an etherchannel bundle and the other end isn't (you're still configuring it)

    Ya know, once upon a time when I needed to learn a book really fast I took
    the book and smacked myself with it as hard as I could in the head...

    Only later to find out that it didnt work icon_rolleyes.gif
