I got the job!

In my previous post I mentioned that I had an interview for an internship through my college. Well, they called me back yesterday and told me that I was hired. I'm starting out at $9.50 per hour, which really isn't too bad. I wasn't about to argue with them anyway. It's a 2 minute drive from school, plus they said they would be very flexible as far as my hours are concerned. That combined with the web page design internship I just picked up, which pays $12 an hour I might add, has me pretty excited and optimistic. I have yet to discuss with them when I start, but I expect to either the middle of next week, or the following Monday. I'm excited, but at the same time nervous about how I'll perform. The job isn't anything too tough. Mainly desktop support, setting up systems for people in the building, etc. They have no servers there, but you have to communicate with the facility which does have the servers quite often. I can't wait to start!

Options/usr Member Posts: 1,768I started today, it's not too bad. It's actually fun. There's a lot I'm not that familiar with. They run Win NT/2000, but use Netware for file and print sharing. I've never used Netware, so it's a bit like a foreign language. I spent all day opening and deploying four new Dell workstations, as well as setting up a ladies printer.
Anyone know a good resource for learning Netware? -

I never knew company's segregated ladies from gentlemen when it comes to using stuff like printers (which are supposed to be shared in the first place). the separate but equal stuff is ancient history, remember ( =joke).Exquisite as a lily, illustrious as a full moon,
