VLANs and Trunking on CCENT?

in CCNA & CCENT
I know I don't see anything about these topics on the CCENT Objectives but I'm just wandering because these topics are discussed in the Cisco Press INTRO book I'm studying. I know that is for ICND1 not CCENT but have these topics really been moved to ICND2 now or what?

    According to the exam topics you must be able to implement a small switched network. VLANs and Trunking are part of even a small switched network, but it doesn't specificaly say its tested on. I'd know them to be safe.
