Hello,
I am wondering if anyone has actually made one. I'm in the mode to solder a couple of things and I have a couple of extra cat5 / db9 connectors hanging around the house.
I was checking out this site http://www.ossmann.com/5-in-1.html which has a lot of good information. Did anyone else attempt this?
Cheers

I've made my own console adapters before with a straight-through cable and a RJ-45 to DB9 converter. I did the roll-over inside the DB9 so you can use any straight-through cat5 cable with it.
Works great!
Although anymore I just pack the blue RJ45 to DB9 cable now though, as I have a whole messload of them.
