Test really this easy?

Hello all, been studying for A+ I'm about halfway through Mike's book. 1200+ pages though icon_sad.gif

Anyway I decided to start some of the practice tests and noticed alot of weird but simple questions like: If a guy is having legal troubles what should you do?

About 1/3 of the questions are like that just common stuff like not scolding peoples pets and stuff. Are both the 602 and essentials really that basic? And am I killing my self learning every detail when I'm not even going to be quizzed on the specifics? If anyone has any advice for me or another place with recommendable practice tests sound off please. Thanks.

P.S. Anyone else disappointed with LOST premiere tonight?

The CompTIA exams have a lot of really odd questions. While some of it will be common sense, a lot of it won't be. I'd go through the book just to be sure. Even if you're not tested on that material, actually knowing it really isn't going to hurt you.

Trascender makes good practice tests if you're willing to pay for them.

I found the 601 to be geared towards technical materials, but it really wasn't that hard. The 602 had a lot of customer service questions- all of them were common sense (don't babysit the kid, don't kick the dog, etc).

The Net+ was much harder than either the 601 or 602. If you know the basics of how to spec and build a PC, and installing and configuring basic Windows OS features, you'll do fine.

Oh, and I've never watched "Lost".

I was also disappointed with Lost, during the last 4 weeks, I watched the entire 3 seasons on DVD leading up to last night.
I actually enjoyed the program that was on after it better than Lost itself.
I don't claim to be an expert, but I sure would like to become one someday.

Ok thanks guys like dynamik says it probably doesn't hurt to learn as much as I can I'm just afraid of learning the specifics and fogetting some of the common things. The Transcender seems like nice software but just a little to expensive right now because I had to fork over 300 for the exams. But thanks for the heads up I may use them for my next certification. Thanks for the info 147 calmed my nerves a bit I think as long as I spend time getting up to speed on O.S. tidbits and portables I will be in good shape. And miller811 I totally agree man I waited half a year only to have more questions and no answers on that show icon_lol.gif

I took both tests about 3 months ago, and used up to date study materials. Some of the questions were rock dumb. Some questions were from left field and not in any of the study materials.
