VTP Stuck!!

Hi..I hope someone can help me with this..

I have 3 swithces.. (2) 2950 (1) 3524
am trying to get VTP to pass over the trunk lines. the 2 2950 I can get it to work..but the 3524..wont get any update from the 2950s. I enable pruning,,,Version 2..same domain name...could ping each other VLAN1 interface. ALl 3 are in Server mode. The revision # on the 2950 are the same but on the 3524 is always different..Wonder y..any idea ?

    Does the 3524 support DTP? If it does, then try the " switchport nonegotiate" to turn it off on the trunk. Can you post a show int trunk, a show vtp status, and show VTP counters on the trouble interface or trouble switch?
    There is no place like 127.0.0.1 BUT 209.62.5.3 is my 127.0.0.1 away from 127.0.0.1!

    Like Netstudent said, make sure you have a trunk between the two switches (VTP frames are only sent between switches). The 3524 supports both ISL and 802.1q encapsulation so you may need to set it for dot1q since the 2950 only supports that. Also check the domain name and PW (I have had numerous students put a space at the end and it doesn't work because the domain name becomes "CCNA " on one switch and "CCNA" on the other)
