How do I disable startup script on windows XP , I want to make my client desktop not communicate with server

Go to run, type msconfig
look under the startup tab and see if the script is listed there....disable it

Is this a domain environment? Is there a GPO that applies to the computer in question? More details would help us point you in the right direction.All things are possible, only believe. -

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...
