Probably your most valuable asset!
Congratulations man. If anyone ever deserved it more, I can't think who it might be! (probably a few who deserve it as much, especially on this forum)
Pretty cool number too.I usually hang out on 224.0.0.10 (FF02::A) and 224.0.0.5 (FF02::5) when I'm in a non-proprietary mood.

Blah blah blah..I had to get to work and wanted to offer my congratulations.
dt- oddly enough, having some experience then taking isn't too bad, it seems...it is costly, though. I had a buddy who was new to certs, and gave a run at the CCNA with no experience, and about 2 weeks of studying. It murdered him, but it was also a wake up call, that it was a real test, and he really needed to prepare. He retook it the next time and topped 99% of other people's scores. -
Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModIt sounds like you had quite a ride, and I'm sure you'll have plenty of war-stories for us as others approach the big day. As Webmaster once said in another thread, "CCIEs don't go to interviews, they interview companies", so I'd imagine that the whole (IT) world's beating a path to your doorstep. I suppose it's a little like being Chilli Palmer from the movie Get Shorty:
"Who the f@#% are you?"
"I'm the guy telling you the way it's gonna be."
Big congrats on passing the big lab, and good luck on the Service Provider and Security paths.

So what does your employer think of you getting your CCIE? I hope it's something better than a clap on the back and a "Job well done!" comment.
Be sure and send us a photo of your CCIE plaque when it arrives. I think we'd all like to see it. Precious few of us will ever own one, methinks."Computers in the future may weigh no more than 1.5 tons." - Popular Mechanics, 1949 -

home lab or rack access ?rm -rf / -
dtlokee Member Posts: 2,378 ■■■■□□□□□□I have a rack set up at work that I used. In the week before the lab I did 3 of the IE labs, I think they were 7,8,10 - They were the ones rated an 8 for difficulty. It used them to get into the groove of sitting for 8 hours and working on a lab. The only complaint I would have about the IE workbooks is they give you good drawings that you can work from. The IE lab you need to make your own drawings because the ones they give you are not as good.The only easy day was yesterday!
