RADIUS and Windows 2003
Hello
I am in the process of testing 802.1x using a cisco 3550 (or 2950) cisco switch and windows 2003 active directory to restrict access to outsiders.
I looked online and didn't find much about implementing RADIUS with windows 2003. I am hoping that someone could shed some light on this topic. If you can provide some links or step by step on how to configure windows 2003 to support radius.
I did try it using acs and everything worked fine, but the company doesn't want to spend 10K on ACS.
and thanks in advance for your help

Its pretty easy, at least it was when I configured 802.1x for the WRT54GL's at the office for my users. -

Towards the bottom you see how the policy order can affect things and a couple of other pointers that may assist once you are in the process of setting up and trouble shooting. All things are possible, only believe. -
