Well The Subejct Says it all, im new to the whole certs thing, but can anyone tell me if there is any free thing going on

johnw02 Member Posts: 39 ■■□□□□□□□□The only thing that comes to mind is BrainBench. Many of their certification tests can be taken free of charge, but I'm not sure how "recognized" they are in the IT world.

after staying up for 2 hours, and registering to find out.. if i want the certificate i need to pay ¬_¬
but i can still download the logo..
but i still have to pay..
back to square on..
any free certs..
anyone ?

I believe the Juniper will give a CCNA a free voucher to take the JNCIA exam, but I think they have to do it within a certain time period. Heck, I forget the details, I decided to skip it and proceed with the CCNP. -

Not nearly as good as it was a few months ago. Sprint just laid some people off, so that isn't helping matters. Back in August with just a CCNA people were banging my door down, I seriously couldn't keep track of all the leads I had. I haven't been searching lately because I'm doing work for Sprint right now, but just looking on dice.com it's definitely died down a little bit - at least for the Cisco jobs. I don't know how the Windows Admins are doing right now.
