TE1 is the end device, your router. Your router runs software and stuff and confines to standards.
TE2 is the device that connects to it, predating standards. IE: An adapter for ISDN isn't really a standard, it's an adaptation to it.
So, depending on the interface and wether it's DCE or DTE...Network Tech student, actively learning Windows 2000, Linux, Cisco, Cabling & Internet Security.
