CCNP Question

i have recently passed my CCNA and now moving onto CCNP however with the CCNA i was enrolled at my local college which to be honest was a very poor college and didnt help my with my study as i practiced labs on my own equipment etc. the only thing i gained from it was access to the Cisco academy website and the lab instructions. With the CCNP i hoped to study on my own without going to a college and then just pay to sit the exams. This leads me to my 2 questions, 1 how can i get access the the CCNP lab material and 2 when it comes to sitting the exams will i be able to use my current academy id number that i used when booking my CCNA exam.

Answer Q1:
You can either buy from E-bay(quit cheap), Our rent an online lab. Also you can use dynampis(open source simulator, you just need an IOS image) for BSCI. Renting labs is much cheaper, just don't rent a CCIE lab seek for CCNP labs, they'll be much cheaper.

Q2 : Sorry i have no idea

when i said labs i didnt actually mean the equipment as i have that covered, what i actually meant was access to the documentation on what to labs to configure. with the CCNA i printed off the labs and just worked my way through them but i dont have access to them for CCNP.

Most of the self-study guides contain a lot of the commands you can practice.

Also, Google is your friend. Searches like "cisco cef troubleshoot" or "cisco inter-vlan setup" will take you to lengthy Cisco support articles.

That being said, I'm sure the lab portfolio books are helpful - has anyone on the forum tried them yet?
