ccvp without ccna

Hi,
I'm a telcommunication enginner workking with NEC pabx systems.I would like to take the ccvp certificaton coz i believe that would be a value addition to my technical knowhow.I don't have any cisco certifications as yet, so should i take any tests before trying the ccvp test like the ccna or so.

You can not become CCVP certified with out the CCNA. Also the CCVP is more than one test, it is actually five exams.
