    291!! not looknig forward to that!! Would donig a CCNA first be helpful toward the 291? or should I do 291 first, All self study for MS exams might be able to go on a course for ccna..

    Other than a little DHCP and subnetting the CCNA would not help with 291. They are like apples and oranges in the networking world. 291 is heavy on DHCP, DNS, RRAS, IPSEC. There is alot to learn about each of those. There are not many different topics to learn, but every topic is a mile deep with the content. I would recommend setting up 3-6 DCs with 2-3 virtual networks to practice DNS, RRAS, DHCP relay, etc.

    So does the 291 have anything to do with supernetting and VLSM? I mean i did that at uni and man took me ages to get my head around it icon_redface.gif
