    Cisco Secure Access Control Server

    It can be used for user and device authentication

    Access Control Server....

    Pretty much Cisco's version of MS's IAS (Internet Authentication Service)

    Can use tacacs, tacacs+ & Radius authentication........

    Very brief explanation... look it up on cisco.com for further info :D

    I bookmark almost every link I look at on Cisco's site for quick reference later.

    You'll hear about as part of "triple-A" -- AAA
    Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting

    It's a bigger Security/CCSP topic than CCNP topic.
