SniperHunter Member Posts: 51 ■■□□□□□□□□So what exactly happends, your using your computer, and boom it restarts? Does it restart when you load a certain program, or at random intervals?"You know what they say, Microsoft could sell sand in the desert, but Novell couldn't sell crack in Harlem"

2lazybutsmart Member Posts: 1,119I've seen that same problem on a win2kpro pc in our office. Couldn't understand what was wrong with it. Someones working on it, and just boom.... it reboots.Exquisite as a lily, illustrious as a full moon,

Kevin57 Member Posts: 16 ■□□□□□□□□□Brian and I are still having shutdowns. We replaced the power supply... it was bad!
Only when we start HD to HD or CD to HD transfer the system goes down. -

Because most motherboards now have a safety mechanism that shuts down your computer if the cpu reach a certain temperature (over heats).
Try using a better powersupply.
