Upgrading IOS on 2500 routers

I have 2 x 2500 routers both with boot ver 11.0. 1 router has IOS ver 10.3<5> the other 12.1<18> I want to upgrade both routers to 12.3 if possible. Assuming I have enough
system flash to upgrade where do I go to download the newer IOS?

phantasm Member Posts: 995In order to download the most recent IOS you'd need a smartnet contract. Since the 2500 series routers are EOL and EOS, the images aren't available through those channels.
One of your routers has 12.1.
The last release for 12.3 was 12.3(25) which requires 16/16. This is the IP Plus image.

or better just to get a new router since 2500 can be had for cheap? -
Netwurk Member Posts: 1,155 ■■■■■□□□□□You'll have to do your own research if you're looking for a 3rd party solution. Links to sites like that get deleted from the forums.
One solution might be to buy a router that has the IOS image you need. The you can copy it to a TFTP server and install it on all your 2500's -
