SDM on non ISR Routers

Hi i have a 2611 non xm router, and i was wondering can you run SDM on these routers.?
I know they com pre installed on the ISR routers, but can you run these on my routers.?
I was reading the sybex book, and wanted to practice along.
also what is the demo version of this SDM?

Cisco Routers and Cisco IOS Versions Supported

Table 1 lists the routers and Cisco IOS versions currently supported by SDM.

If you mean the SDM Demo Lab -- I'd guess that's a "demo" for people without equipment -- and sometimes it works.

There is also a Cisco Security Device Manager Multimedia Demo that seems to always work.

Thanks, I have an exam scheduled in a few days and just saw this forum talking about the emphasis on SDM (which I usually breeze past dismissively). Back to the book!!

I guess this is the only way i can practice with SDM, with spending $500< huh?

Try and get your hands on a 1710 or 1721, they shouldn't be too expensive. I've seen 1710 go for $60 and 1721 at around $80.

a 3620 might be even cheaper
