Regarding the stars beneath posters' names in the forums....do the stars indicate that a certain number of posts have been made by that person?

Kasor, I just managed to keep a wry comment out of the way that I wanted to write.
But the guy was talking of the stars under the words Registered Member/Moderator. -

Posts < 10 Stars : 1
Posts < 50 Stars : 2
Posts < 100 Stars : 3
Posts < 1000 Stars : 4
Moderators Stars : 5
